The annual Mooreabbey Milers AC 4 mile road race takes place this year on Friday 11th May, at 7.30pm in Galbally, Co. Limerick and Mooreabbey Milers, the promoting club, are honouring one of their and the sport's best known athlete, the late Mike Cunningham, who died last year.
Mooreabbey Milers AC host their annual 4 mile road race in Galbally, Co. Limerick on Friday 11th May at 7.30pm. This year, with the kind permission of his family, the race will be run in honour of the late, great Michael Curley Cunningham who sadly passed away last year. As per his wishes a donation will be made to the Oncology unit of CUH. €200 for the 1st man & woman as well as cash prizes for 2nd & 3rd male & female & 1st junior boy & girl. Category prizes also. Spot prizes & refreshments in the community centre afterwards. Registration& number pick up from 6pm to 7.15pm. The race start is approx 1k from the race HQ.
